The short version: Phone Theremin does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no servers.
Information We Collect
Phone Theremin does not collect any personal information. Specifically:
- No account required. You do not need to create an account or provide any personal details to use the app.
- No analytics. We do not use any analytics services. Your usage is not tracked or measured.
- No advertising. The app contains no advertisements and no advertising SDKs.
- No crash reporting. We do not use automated crash reporting tools that collect device data.
Microphone & Audio
Phone Theremin generates audio using your device's speaker. The app does not access your microphone.
The recording feature captures audio generated by the app itself (not your microphone) using the Web Audio API. Recordings are saved directly to your device via the iOS Files system and are never uploaded to any server.
Data Storage
Any WAV recordings you create are stored locally on your device in a location you control (iOS Files / Documents). Phone Theremin does not have a backend server and cannot access files on your device beyond what iOS permits for local app storage.
Third-Party Services
Phone Theremin does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that collect user data. The app functions entirely offline and makes no network requests during normal operation.
Children's Privacy
Phone Theremin is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children or anyone else, as we collect no information at all.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. We will not make changes that contradict the core principle: your data stays on your device.
